Not only will you have a wonderful cycle through the top end, you’ll be helping raise funds for a wonderful organisation Total Recreation NT.
A huge thanks to all our riders and ongoing sponsors.
Total Recreation knows the importance of leisure and how it positively contributes to our lives. We believe that people with a disability should have the same opportunities to participate in sport and recreational activities as the rest of the community.
Total Recreation was incorporated in 1991, and is a non for profit community based organisation. It was established to create opportunities for people with a disability across sport, recreational and holiday experiences and activities.
The Katherine To Darwin Challenge (K2DC) raises funds for Total Recreation programs. Some funding is received from the Northern Territory Government however Total Recreation strongly relies on fundraising efforts to continue their work in the community.
The Katherine To Darwin Challenge began in 2014 and over the past 5 years the event has raised over $206,000 for Total Recreation. In 2019 we aim to raise a further $50,000!
